Here at The Blackford Hotel we thrive on being flexible and tailor-making special events for our guests. Our main function suite which is fully self contained with its own private bar and sprung dance floor is ideal for hosting birthdays, celebration meals, dances, weddings and special events. The hotel has plenty of natural daylight so is ideal for a meeting/conference or presentation and we offer the use of our presentation equipment within the cost of the hire of the room. This includes projector screen, flipchart, stationery and secretarial support. Our dining room (pictured below) can also be used for meetings of up to 16 people maximum.

Function room

The function room is very adaptable and we can set up the day in many varying configurations as detailed below:

  • Theatre Style x 80
  • Classroom Style x 40
  • Boardroom Style x 26

We can offer freshly brewed tea and coffee on arrival at the Hotel (some prefer with bacon rolls!), a mid-morning break with homemade shortbread, lunch in the bar or in your meeting room, depending on your requirements. You can have use of all equipment and stationery. Mineral water provided on tables if requested Any or all of the above can be organised for your tailor made day. Rates on application.
